What is the difference between A106 and A106B pipes?

Having dealt with pipes and tubes, especially A 106 and A106B pipes, for several years, I am qualified to answer this question.

How many grades of A106 steel pipe are available?

There are three grades of A 106 steel pipe that transport fluids at high temperatures and pressure include:

• Grade A with lower carbon content and tensile strength than Grade B A 106 steel pipes
• Grade B, with higher carbon content and others like magnesium, has a higher tensile strength of up to 415 MPa.
• Grade C has a higher carbon content above 0.35% and higher tensile strength than grade B.
