There are two diameters you should measure before buying pipes. It is the OD or outer diameter and ID or inner diameter.

What is the allowable stress of A335 P22 Material as per ASME B36.10M?

As per ASME or the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the allowable stress is the maximum stress the pipes can withstand before code failure. Though it is not the entire pipe failure, it is for the many safety factors specified by ASME B36.01 M.
