DIN 1629 carbon Seamless Steel Pipes are circular tubes and pipes made up of non alloy materials for special quality requirements. There are three major grades as DIN 1629 ST 37.0, 44.0 and 52.0. The DIN 1629 Pipe grades differ in the material composition and the mechanical properties. The applications of the different grades of the Tuberia DIN 1629 can be seen in the manufacturing pipeline, vessels, equipment, pipe fittings and other applications. They come in different size ranges. The outer diameter of the pipes vary from 10mm to 324mm and the wall thicknesses vary from 1mm to 30mm with lengths varying up to 14000mm. The Tubi DIN 1629 material has carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus and sulfur. The grade ST52.0 has silicon and manganese while the other grades don’t. The carbon content in the ST37.0 grade is 0.17%, the ST44.0 grade is 21% and for the ST52.0 grade it is 22%. This difference causes the DIN 1629 Seamless Tubes to have different strength values. The grade 37.0 has 235MPa minimum yield strength up to 480MPa minimum tensile strength, the 44.0 grade has 275MPa and the tensile strength ranges up to 550MPa while the 52.0 grade has 355MPa and the minimum tensile strength of up to 650MPa. The DIN 1629 st 52 is the highest and most expensive grade. The DIN 1629 Steel Pipe can be hot rolled, cold worked, stress relieved, annealed or normalized for heat treatment to improve the hardness of the products.
