ST45 Steel Pipes belong to the DIN 2391 standards. The outer diameter of the pipes ranges from 4mm to 190mm with wall thicknesses ranging from 0.5mm to 15mm. The DIN 2391 grade St45 Boiler Tube is made up of carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus and sulfur. The length of the pipes range up to 6000mm. The DIN 2391 ST45 Tubes are cold drawn mandatory, cold drawn soft, cold drawn and stress release or annealed. The different types have different strengths. The cold drawn pipes and cold drawn stress release pipes have 520MPa minimum tensile strength while the cold drawn mandatory DIN 2391-2 Grade St 45 Tubes have 580MPa minimum tensile strength. The minimum yield strength of the pipes is 375MPa. These pipes are essentially carbon steel pipes. The DIN 2391 ST45 Carbon Steel Pipes provide better wear and tear and toughness to withstand harsh conditions. The pipes can handle high temperatures and are intended for high temperature services. The ST45 Seamless Pipe is used in automotive, electrical, oil drilling, boiler, refinery, heat exchangers, condenser and other industrial applications. The DIN 2391 St45 Seamless Precision Steel Tubes are used with tools, instrument and equipment for their higher dimensional accuracy as well. As these are all seamless pipes they have less absolute roughness and high precision in the outer diameters. The ST45 DIN 2391 Carbon Steel Welded Tubes are also present and can be used in general purpose applications. The DIN 2391 ST45 Pipes can come in different pipe end types such as plain and beveled and can also be coated with different types of coatings.
