IS 3074 Pipe
ERW 1 IS 3074
BS 3074 Seamless Steel Tube
IS 3074 Steel Tube comes under different international standards. The cold drawn electric resistant welded IS 3074 Cew pipes are used in automotive industrial applications, heat exchangers, petroleum industry and in the construction industries. These are carbon steel pipes with carbon, phosphorus, sulfur, silicon in the composition. There are different grades and each of them has different compositional difference. The IS 3074 ERW 2 can have up to 687MPa minimum tensile strength up to 589MPa minimum yield strength. The material composition also allows the carbon steel pipes to be corrosion resistant, wear and tear resistant, creep resistant and to have high toughness. The IS 3074 Cew 1 can be welded with most traditional welding methods and does not require preheating for welding. It also does not require post weld heat treatment to secure the welded connections. The ERW 1 IS 3074 Properties allow the pipes to range from 5mm to 1219.2m in outer diameter and the wall thicknesses from 0.5mm to 20mm. The pipes range in pressure capacities from sch5 through XXS and heavier. The IS 3074 Pipe grades and separation is mainly based on the carbon content of the pipes. The cew2 has 0.16%, cew 3 has 0.2, cew 4 has 0.25 and the cew 5 has 0,23% carbon maximum in the composition with other elements. The IS 3074 Cdw Tubes Steel Coating can be galvanized, PTFE, 3LPE or any other relevant coating according to the customer requirements.
