IS 4923 Fe 450 Tube is used mostly in the oil and gas industries to securely transport oil and gas for long distances. The Carbon Steel IS 4923 Fe 450 Seamless Pipes have less absolute roughness and dimensional accuracy so that they are used in these sensitive applications. The material has carbon, manganese, silicon, sulfur and phosphorus in the composition. The pipes can be made as seamless or welded. The IS 4923 Fe 450 Structural Pipes can be made from 4mm to 1219.2mm in diameter and up to 13m in length. The wall thickness of the pipes can range from sch20 to XXS and from 0.5mm to 20mm. Extra heavy wall thicknesses are available for heavy duty applications. The IS 4923 Fe 450 ERW Steel Tubes can come in polished, annealed and pickled, bright annealed or MF conditions. The pipe form can be round, hydraulic, U bent or straight. The pipes can also be used in structural applications such as the IS 4923 Fe 450 Black Heavy Pipes that can bear heavy loads. The material is a mild steel that it has good ductility and toughness. The IS 4923 Fe 450 Mild Steel Tube does not require preheating before welding or post weld heat treated after welding.
